The BC-ABA mailing list provides monthly updates about current events and news in B.C.’s behaviour analytic community. Mailing list topics such as our Annual Conference, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, sponsored and co-sponsored Continuing Education opportunities, Membership initiatives, Membership renewal reminders, Board of Directors Nominations and Elections, and upcoming events held by the Student Alliance. Additionally, our mailing list offers insight to current job postings, educational opportunities, and Townhall events.

Members are elected to the BC-ABA Board of Directors annually, and serve a 2-year term. The call for nominations to elect community members for vacancies to the board is sent to members of our mailing list. Nomination and Voting for Member at Large positions is reserved for Full Members of BC-ABA, and Student Members may nominate and vote for Student Representatives.

Yes, if the event offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from the BACB we can advertise your event by email and Facebook post to our members at no cost. For more information, email communications@bc-aba.org or view our advertising page.

Yes, if the position is specifically for employment as a BCBA, we can send the advertisement by email to our members and post it to our Facebook group for a small fee. We do not advertise for paraprofessional positions (e.g. Behaviour Interventionists). For more information, email communications@bc-aba.org or view our Advertising page.

Yes. However, this may take up to 2 months as we will have to verify your attendance in our archived records. For more information, email conference@bc-aba.org.

There are no partial refunds if you purchase a CEU package but do not attend the full event. CEU payments are non-refundable.

Please ensure your attendance prior to registering for any BC-ABA event or our Annual Conference as the fees are non-refundable.

No, but you will pay full price for an event as a non-member. Why not become a member today and enjoy the benefits, including reduced registration fees!

Join BC-ABA as an Affiliate Member if you do not meet the student or full membership criteria. You will still have the benefit of connecting with the community of practitioners and discounted events registration.

Our student members have the benefit of the BC-ABA Student Alliance, connecting you to others who are actively learning about the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis.

No problem! Members can download a PDF version of their receipt, which can be used to provide proof of membership for ABAI.

 

Members can access their receipts by logging into their ‘My Membership‘ account. Once logged in, select the orders tab on the left-hand side. An option to download a PDF receipt will be available.

Memberships must be renewed annually following the date of purchase. You will receive a notification when your current membership is about to expire.

You can check your membership status and history at any time by logging into “My Membership”
