BC-ABA is getting ready for the annual elections, but before we do our call for nominations, we wanted to let you know of an exciting and important opportunity to join the Board of Directors! We are looking for someone to fill the position of Treasurer beginning January 11, 2021.
If you are an organized, diligent person who likes to handle money, nerd out on financial statements and make recommendations to the board on how to save and spend, then you are the perfect fit!
We are accepting nominations for this position from now until November 27, 2020.
This is a special election! Members will be able to vote on the potential candidates for the position from December 1 – 31, 2020
(so make sure you have a valid membership so you can VOTE!)
If you have not served on the BC-ABA board yet, now is a great time to get involved and take advantage of this opportunity!

Board Members must commit to in-person attendance at monthly meetings for their entire term (via video conference for those outside of the Lower Mainland). We meet approximately ten times per year, usually on the first Monday of the month from 10am to 11:30am.

Please note, all Nominees must be a current member of BC-ABA (Full or Student Member) and nomination forms must be completed by current BC-ABA members.
Our membership renewal cycle began September 1, 2020. If your membership is not current and you would like to renew your BC-ABA membership for the 2020-2021 year, please follow the link to renew: bc-aba.org/join-bc-aba
Ballots will be sent by email to current members. Please ensure your email address is up to date with BC-ABA to receive your ballot. Add us to your address book.
